• Moved to Cairo, Ill., July 27,
• Thence to Columbus, Ky., August 6.
• Guard railroad and bridges by detachments
  • at Big Muddy Bridge, Illinois Central R.R. (2 Cos.);
  • at Mound City, Ill., (2 Cos.)
  • at Moscow, Ky., (3 Cos.) and
  • at Little Obion bridge., (3 Cos.)
• till October
• Mustered out October 29, 1862.

Regiment lost

• 23 by disease during service.
